Acquisition to Sale Process:
▪ After a competitive bidding process, Hyde Park, in partnership with John Hancock Financial, acquired Detroit & Canada Tunnel Corporation, the owner of
the toll tunnel between Detroit, MI and Windsor, Ontario
▪ Following the acquisition, we worked with management to increase cash flow by raising the toll, reducing operating costs, and making prudent capital
investments

▪ Three years after the acquisition, Hyde Park was approached with a buyout offer by an affiliate of Macquarie Group. After several months of negotiations,
our partners and we decided to accept Macquarie’s proposal, realizing a 15x return on equity invested
